Project Scope
As a team, we undertook a comprehensive 'Discovery' phase to thoroughly understand and define the scope. This involved gathering insights and feedback to ensure we had a clear direction for the project's objectives and requirements.

High level user flow
Admin users needed to seamlessly create and send policies, while patients required the ability to acknowledge new policies. Each flow had its own nuances to ensure a smooth and comprehensive user experience.
User flows were thoroughly presented to my team, heads of design, and major stakeholders to ensure all feedback was incorporated and everyone was satisfied with the designs.

the challenges i faced
Many user flows and features were considered, but budget, time constraints, and company maturity had to be prioritised in our decision-making to ensure we created the right product for BPM and the best possible experience for our admin users.

The admin user needs the ability to view, create, and edit policies through an easy-to-navigate flow. However, given BPM’s current low customer count, we should avoid overloading the feature to begin with. This should be created with the lens of it being an MVP feature.

Logo design
Conceptually, I stayed true to the original idea but strengthened the brand mark with bold shapes and colour contrast to add depth. My goal was to make the logo easier to use and ensure it stands out across the room.

Unveiling our new brand [april 2024]
I presented our new brand to the entire company and founder at our Q4 kickoff in the Sydney office. I showcased our new logo, colours, fonts, and visual styles, aiming to increase excitement in our company and brand. I made sure my presentation was both polished and engaging. Setting a positive tone for BPM as we continue our quest to find new customers.

At the Start of the Project:
I would conduct interviews to understand user needs, wants, and what could make this feature successful. This would involve creating a comprehensive list of questions, recording responses, and analysing the data. I would group similar responses, identify patterns, and uncover new insights.
Throughout the Project:
I would continue conducting interviews to gauge user thoughts and opinions, ensuring the product met their needs.
After Completing the Designs:
I would build complete prototypes and conduct user tests. Observing users interacting with the prototype would help me note any frustrations, pain points, and positive feedback.
After Feature Launch:
I would install tracking software to observe user behaviours, modify designs based on these observations, and re-evaluate. Continuously learning from users and improving the feature would be my goal. Additionally, I would interview real users to gain further insights into their experience with the feature.
